Get On A Bike!

Get On A Bike is a registered charity.  We provide guided rides for adults who want to start or restart cycling to improve their physical or mental wellbeing.

Based at Cooper Park, Elgin, Get On A Bike is free for adults of all abilities. We aim to get you comfortable and competent cycling, even if your first ride is just a wee circle on the grass, or once round the park.

We do aim though, to get you cycling to one of our great cafes – and we will buy you a snack and a drink to celebrate and to let the magic of chat and connection start happening.

What We Offer

  • A series of guided rides tailored to your ability and confidence. This is offered on a 1:1 and/or small group basis.
  • We can lend you a bike — no need to bring your own (although if you have a bike, you’re still welcome).
  • Helmets & gloves provided for safety and comfort.
  • A drink and a snack are provided free of charge during each ride.
  • When you are ready we will support you to get involved with other activities or other cycling groups.
  • This spring/summer we are offering group session & rides on Monday evenings and Saturday morning.
  • In winter, we organise fun indoor evening cycling sessions to keep you active and motivated

A great partnership

Drum roll please! 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁

We are so proud of our cyclists tonight. The route tonight was the furthest that most of them had cycled in years.

This is a huge goal for many of them and the sense of achievement and pride was amazing.

Lovely to return to the pavilion and see so many smiling faces.

Well done everyone
